Black Death in Poland
A scientific study suggested that Poland experienced minimal depopulation during the Black Death, based on analysis of cereal grain pollen in regional cores. Dr. Piotr Guzowski from the University of Bialystok found no significant decreases in pollen related to human agricultural activities.
