January 1 2024 Dr Tayo Aduloju officially assumed the role of CEO of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.
2023 The NESG announced the appointment of Dr Tayo Aduloju as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), to be effective from 1 January 2024. Prior to this appointment, Dr Aduloju served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Senior Fellow, Economic Policy, Strategy, and Competitiveness of the NESG.
2022 Olaniyi Yusuf was appointed as the new chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, taking over from Asue Ighodalo. Prior to this appointment, he was the first vice chairman of the NESG.

September 20 2019 The Nigeria Triple Helix Roundtable (NTHR) was launched as the first practical implementation of the Triple-Helix model in Nigeria, creating a permanent platform for collaboration between government, academia, and industry to foster economic growth and national development.
2018 Asue Ighodalo was appointed as chairman of the NESG, following the retirement of Mr Kyari Bukar.
