2025 Visual Pinball 10.8.1 (in development) added cross-platform support for macOS, iOS, tvOS, Linux (including Batocera and Raspberry Pi), and Android.
2025 The VPVR fork was re-integrated into Visual Pinball 10.8.0, adding support for dynamic virtual camera movement, Virtual Reality headsets, and OpenGL graphics API.
January 2021 LibPinMAME was initially released, providing a platform-independent library compatible with macOS, iOS, tvOS, Linux, and Android in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
